I was looking on Youtube for an example of Scott Cappuro and I came across some clips from the comic, Rhod Gilbert, who I saw him in Edinburgh last year doing a charity gig. He’s one of the best.
He always plays a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of some problem. When I saw him he was describing the problems of buying a quilt from an over helpful shop assistant, where he was confronted with a whole host of options, such as whether he wanted to use it in the summer or winter, what did he want it made of, to what tog rating he wanted.
He built this into a twenty minute routine and brought the house down. Below is a much shorter, more manic version
